Biography of Katherine Bunting

Katherine Bunting became one of country's brightest (and youngest) faces in 2006, when the then 17 -year-old vocalist released her first song. Although new to the American public, Bunting had been performing since early childhood, taking inspiration and encouragement from her grandmother. She sang "The Star-Spangled Banner" before a crowed at the age of 15; the following year, she began practicing her guitar skills for several hours each day, only stopping when her fingers began to bleed. Bunting’s parents realized their child's dedication and began helping her choose where to perform.

At the tender age of 21, Katherine has plans on recording cd’s and getting the opportunity to meet her fans. Katherine has always wanted to be in the public eye and has always dreamed of what it would be like if she became a singer. She would sit in her room and write songs from sun up to sun down every few nights.
It wasn't until she picked up a guitar at age 19 and learned to write her own songs that Katherine discovered how readily she could channel the turbulent emotions of growing up into her music. Before long, she was spending every available moment playing and writing. "I was playing three to four hours a day until my mom called me for dinner," she says.
Soon, Katherine's family recognized both her talent and her determination, and began taking guitar lessons. When she was Just 17 years old, Katherine was at a point in her life where she was at an age where most teenagers are only beginning to find their identity and lay tentative plans for the future. But there's never been much doubt in Katherine's mind about her calling.
Like all songwriters, Katherine is inspired by the life going on around her, and like any 20 -year-old, she admits to a "fascination" with love.
